expected frequency

• in probability, the number of times a specific outcome
is expected to occur in a given number of repeats.
• calculated by multiplying the event's probability by the number of repeats,
e.g. rolling a 6 on a number cube in twenty-four turns:
expected frequency = 1/6 x 24 = 4.
